I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Following graduation, I spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Missouri Columbia and earned my master's degree in Health Education and Promotion. I then moved to Houston, Texas and worked as an outreach athletic trainer at Houston Methodist Hospital. In this position I gained experience working with all types of athletes, including middle school, gymnasts, professional cheerleaders, and professional ballet dancers. My primary responsibility was to serve as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League. Upon moving to Milwaukee, I started a job as wellness coordinator at a large real estate company and built their wellness program from the ground up. I enjoyed working in corporate wellness, but I soon realized that I missed the college athletics environment and was lucky enough to continue my career path to Stritch. I currently live in Milwaukee with my husband and our dog, Penny. In my free time, I enjoy baking and exploring the city with my family.
