Patty has served as Program Advisor for the Master of Science in Educational Leadership Program at Cardinal Stritch since August , 2014. In addition to Educational Leadership she is also the Advisor for the Director of Special Education and Pupil Services Program and the Master's of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Program. Patty has a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is licensed as a teacher, Principal and Director of Instruction. Prior to working at Cardinal Stritch Patty was teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools. Principal of Templeton Middle School in the Hamilton School District for 18 years, and Associate Principal for two years before that. In addition to her role in the Hamilton School District, Patty was President of the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators, served on the Executive Board and was Chairperson of the Middlle Level Commission. At the national level Patty was a presenter in the area of continuous improvement for the National Association of Secondary School Principals. In 2006 Patty was named Wisconsin Middle School Principal of the Year and in 2007 Patty was a finalst for National Middle School Principal of the year. Currently, Patty also works as a Professional Development Specialist at CESA 1 and provides professional development and training for local administrators in educator effectiivenes and teacher/administrator evaluation. Patty is a highly supportive and collaborative leader whose focus in on transformation leadership, building relationships and empowering those around her to achieve at their highest level.
