Selena Webb-Ebo is currently the Employer and Placement Relations Coordinator for Cardinal Stritch University in the department of Experiential Learning and Career Education. For the last four years, she has worked to support the cultivation of internship placements by collaborating with the community, faculty, staff, and students. Selena has worked diligently to strengthen Stritch’s internship program. She serves as the primary liaison between current site supervisors and student interns enrolled in Business, Sociology and Education Studies internship classes. She developed and launched an online Internship Prerequisite Program to help improve the career readiness of Stritch students and assumed teaching roles for the Sociology and Business Internship courses.
Selena’s past experiences includes past collaborative work on local and federally funded programs. She brings experiences coordinating resources and career services for young adults through the Office of Adolescent Health’s funded Young Parenting Program, the Office of Family Assistance’s Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood program and most recently Stritch’s employer relations and internship program implementation in conjunction with the Great Lakes Higher Education’s Career Ready Program Grant.
Selena earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Marquette University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. She holds certifications from the National Career Development Association as a Career Development Facilitator, a Nationally Certified Online Profile Expert through the National Resume Writer’s Association, and a Teaching Adult Learners certificate through the Wisconsin State Registry. Selena is an active member of the Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium and the Wisconsin Private College Career Consortium.
