Made in the USA
Stritch Orchestra Pops performance
Thursday, March 16 – 7:30 PM
Nancy Kendall Theater
Traditionally the lightest concert of the three annual Stritch Orchestra performances, this year’s Winter Concert is titled "Made in the USA" and features familiar (and a few not so familiar) orchestral works by some renowned 20th century American composers.
The program opens with one of John Williams’ Olympic fanfares and includes Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings,” as well as film music from Aaron Copland, George Gershwin and Richard Rogers.
