Just like the Beatles-led “British Invasion” of the Pop world, in the 1960s, English composers have had a similar impact on the classical music world, in the U.S., since the time of our nation’s founding. The Stritch Community Orchestra concludes its 2022-23 concert season with performances of music by some of the British masters, including Benjamin Britten, Edward Elgar, Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and even Arthur Sullivan.
