Cardinal Stritch University offers professional development opportunities that enhance your skills, knowledge and competency in a wide variety of pertinent topic areas.

There are several ways to engage in professional development experiences:

  • Participate in one of our scheduled micro-credential or professional development offerings – offered in fall, winter and summer
  • Collaborate with us to create and implement a customized micro-credential or professional development experience
  • Cluster your learning around a topic of interest and participate in several experiences.

Micro-credentials basics

Micro-credentials represent educational achievements and identify the specific competencies attained and how the mastery of the competencies or skill acquisition was achieved.

Participants earn micro-credentials by applying content knowledge within their own professional context and submitting artifacts as evidence of application of content knowledge to demonstrate mastery of specific knowledge and skills.
