Men's soccer team heading to NAIA National Championship for 3rd straight season

The Stritch men's soccer team will play in the NAIA National Championship after winning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) regular-seson and tournament titles. The Wolves won their third straight CCAC tournament title with a 3-0 victory over Olivet Nazarene Nov. 16 at the Bavarian Soccer Complex in Glendale.

The NAIA national championship bracket will be revealed at Noon Monday, Nov. 18, on the NAIA Facebook page.

Head coach Jamie Bladen's team enters NAIA play with a 16-4 record and an 11-game winning streak. The Wolves were 11-1 in CCAC action.

Players who earned All-CCAC First Team honors include: Eduardo Andrade, Camil Azzam Ruiz, Antonio De Castro, Salvador Nunez, Pablo Ortiz and Victor Valera. Bladen was named CCAC Coach of the Year. Camil Azzam Ruiz awarded CCAC Freshman of the Year.
