More than a dozen colleges and universities participated in a first-of-a-kind Drive-Thru College Fair on Oct. 3, on the Cardinal Stritch University campus.

“We recognize the importance of evolving college fairs in order to provide opportunities for students and their family members to learn about higher education in a safe and convenient manner during this unprecedented time,” said Tracy Fischer, Vice President of Enrollment Management at Stritch before the event. “Stritch is proud to have developed and to host this new, innovative model for college fairs and we are thrilled that so many colleges and universities will join us.”

The following institutions participated:

  • Alverno College
  • Bellin College
  • Concordia University Wisconsin
  • Edgewood College
  • George Williams College of Aurora University
  • Marquette University
  • Milwaukee Area Technical College
  • Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design
  • Milwaukee School of Engineering
  • Mount Mary University
  • University of Wisconsin-Green Bay
  • University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
  • University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
  • Waukesha County Technical College

College/university representatives staffed tents that were stationed along the driving path surrounding Stritch’s 40-acre campus. Prospective students and their families obtained information from colleges/universities without leaving their vehicle. Institutional representatives, including financial aid staff members, were available for personal meetings that will be conducted in a safe, socially-distanced manner.
