Alumna Annette Frink, '73, '83, honored by Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary

Annette Frink, ’73, ’83, received the 2020 Claver Legacy Award from the Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary. The award was bestowed at the organization’s annual Mardi Gras Scholarship Ball on Feb. 22, 2020.

The award is presented annually to an individual dedicated to the tenants of Claverism – a charge to work together in friendship, love and Christian charity – and recognizes devotion to the development of future leaders through mentoring, service and teaching.

“We greatly appreciate all that she continues to do for our organization,” said Virgil Cameron, inter-council president.” The children are foremost in all of her endeavors.”

Frink holds the position of Grand Lady and is a member of Court/Council 234, St. Michael and St. Rose. According to the award program, she serves as an “integral member” of the Milwaukee Inter-Council, consisting of Courts and Councils from St. Francis of Assisi, All Saints, St. Martin de Porres, and St. Michael and St. Rose Catholic parishes in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She was recognized for her “continued dedication to education and the development of our future leaders. Her determination and inspiration translates to true Claverism as she plants the seed of knowledge for everyone.”

Frink earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, teaching certification for cognitive disabilities, and master’s degree in special education from Stritch. She served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2010-2016, participating on the Awards Committee and the Alumni Engagement Committee.
