  • All guests, regardless of age, will be required to have a ticket to enter the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
  • All guests will be required to pass through metal detectors, per UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena
  • COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
  • Masks will be required for all graduates, ceremony participants and guests, ages 2 and older.
  • Social distancing will be required.

UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Information

The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is GBAC Star-Accredited; the gold standard for facility safety and sanitization. Everyone in the building can expect:
• Constant fresh air exchange
• Hospital grade MERV-13 air filtration system
• Hourly sanitization of high-touch surfaces
• Daily health screening checks for all venue staff and employees
• Physically distanced seating pods for guests
• Face coverings are required for everyone in the building at all times

Entering the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena
For everyone’s safety there will be a security screening for all people entering the arena. To avoid delays while entering the arena please do not bring any of prohibited items.
Everyone entering the Arena must have a ticket and wear a face mask at all times. The face mask must cover both nose and mouth. Guests who do not have a ticket or are not wearing a face covering will not be allowed to enter.

Friends and Family
All friends and family will enter via the main doors at 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. Please observe six-foot social distancing while waiting to enter.
Any guests using a wheelchair or motorized scooter should enter at the Annex doors - located just to the west of the main doors - at 490 W Kilbourn Ave. This entrance is in the courtyard and has a ramp for easier access. The seating has been reserved in groups of six for social distancing. Please observe the social distancing guidelines.

Graduates and Faculty/Staff
All graduates and faculty will enter via the Annex doors at 490 W. Kilbourn as well.

Leaving the Arena
At the conclusion of the ceremony, grads and family will leave using separate exits. Families can reunite outside the arena. No family photos will be permitted inside the Arena.

Prohibited Items List
• Helium balloons
• Weapons of any type (firearm/ammo, knives of all sizes, bats, clubs, and scissors)
• No open or concealed weapons/firearms, except in your locked motor vehicle
• Explosives / fireworks
• Self-Defense Sprays (OC, Pepper Spray and Mace)
• Aerosol cans
• Brooms/broomsticks, selfie sticks, poles, and tripods
• Laser pointers
• Large banners or flags signs (over 18” x 24”)
• Backpacks, oversized bags, suitcases, and hard-sided bags of any kind
• Food or drink of any kind (exception: medical, with previous approval by the WCD)
• Cans and glass containers
• Coolers or other hard sided containers
• Projectiles such as beach balls, frisbees, etc.
• Any type of ball
• Fireworks
• Drones (unmanned aircraft systems) or model aircraft
• Illegal substances
• Beverages (in any type container i.e. glass or can)
• Large umbrellas over 12 inches in length; golf umbrellas; umbrellas with pointed tips; multicolored umbrellas
• Metal chains of any kind, including wallet chains

This list is not exhaustive. Items not appearing on this list may still be prohibited at the discretion of
the Wisconsin Center District’s Public Safety Department.

Proofs will be sent to your home and via email within three to five days after graduation. Pictures can be ordered online, by phone, or by mail. GradImages can be contacted at (800) 261-2576 or Registering with GradImages provides them with the information they need to deliver your graduation proofs to you in a timely manner. Giving them an accurate mailing address and email address will allow them to get your proofs to you on the first try.You may also provide them with email addresses of up to six friends and family members to allow them to celebrate in the accomplishment.
